Dale Hollow Lake Fishing

Fishing Guides

Water temperature is 48 degrees on March 18, 2008

Cedar Hill Resort is home to the World Record Smallmouth Bass.  This 11- pound 15-ounce monster was brought in to our dock on July 9, 1955 by D. L. Hayes.  Dale Hollow Lake is also home to the second and third biggest Smallmouth Bass ever caught.

The waters of Dale Hollow Lake are filled with a wide variety of fish.  Whether you are coming to fish for the next World Record Smallmouth Bass or if you are just coming to catch pan fish with the kids, you will not be disappointed.  Dale Hollow Lake has Smallmouth, Largemouth, and Spotted Bass, Walleye, Bluegill, Crappie, Rainbow Trout, Musky, and I'm sure a few other species that I have left out.
