General Policies and Information

  • We take reservations upon request. Be sure to make your reservations early so you can get what you want.
  • We require 50% of the rental rate(s) for a security deposit. If we do not receive the deposit in 2 weeks, the reservation will be canceled without notice. You can pay the deposit by check or use the Deposits link on our web site to use a credit card.
  • To cancel a reservation, we must receive a written request. If we receive the request at least 30 days prior to the arrival date, 80% of your deposit will be refunded back and 20% will be retained for a cancellation fee. If we receive the request less than 30 days prior to the arrival date and the reservation is completely re rented for the same rates, some refund will be given. If we receive the request less than 30 days prior to the arrival date and the reservation is not re rented, the entire deposit is forfeited.
  • Your balance must now be paid on your arrival. This can be paid with cash, check, VISA, Discover or MasterCard. All checks will be processed electronically when received.
  • Any change in unit type or dates is considered a cancellation.
  • Due to the small amount of walk-in rentals, refunds are not given for late arrivals or early terminations. You will be charged for the time you have reserved.

Cabin and Motel Policies and Other Information

  • Check-In time is 3:00 PM CST on date of arrival. Check-out time is 10:00 AM CST on date of departure. Late check-outs will be billed at 25% of daily rental rate per hour (1 hour minimum). Late check-outs are not available if the unit(s) is on reservation and extra fees will be applied if the unit(s) is not vacated on time.
  • Extra people, 5 years and older, are $10 per day or $50 per week each.
  • Pets are $20 per day or $95 per week each.
  • Holiday rates may apply.
  • There is an additional $15 housekeeping fee added to any rental less than 3 nights.
  • Please remember that soap and towels for the kitchen and bathroom are not furnished.

Houseboat Policies and Other Information

  • Check-In time is 2:00 PM CST on date of arrival. Check-out time is 9:00 AM CST on date of departure. Late check-outs will be billed at 25% of daily rental rate per hour (1 hour minimum). Late check-outs are not available if the unit(s) is on reservation and extra fees will be applied if the unit(s) is not returned on time.
  • Extra people, 5 years and older, are $20 per day or $100 per week each.
  • Pets are $25 per day or $125 per week each.
  • We do not offer refunds for breakdowns except in extreme cases. Breakdowns are out of our control but will be fixed as soon as possible.
  • All houseboats must be accompanied by another boat. Bring one or rent one from us. Life jackets are not included in jon boats.
  • Life jackets on houseboats are for emergency use only. Bring your own for recreational activities. All children under 13 years of age must wear a life jacket at all times while outside the houseboat. It is best to bring one that is comfortable for them to wear.
  • Houseboats and all rental boats must be tied up before sundown. If you arrive after 5:00pm and desire a late departure, an additional $35.00 per hour will be applied to your bill for each hour between the deadline of 5:00pm and the actual time that you depart. If you arrive late and do not wish to pay the extra fee, you must stay at the dock until morning.
  • Extra gas cans are strictly prohibited on our boats and docks. Spilled fuel destroys outdoor carpet and can result in major fines from the U.S. Government (not to mention it is dangerous). Anyone caught with extra gas cans on our boats will have $250 added to their bill.
  • Please remember that soap and towels are not provided for the kitchen or the bathroom.
